This CD is a combination of the Seiken Densetsu original soundtrack and the arranged CD Omoi wa Shirabe ni Nosete (which has been translated to "Let Thoughts Ride On Knowledge," although that translation has come under question). Seiken Densetsu (which translates to "Legend of the Sacred Sword") is for the Gameboy and is actually the first game in the Mana series, but it was released as Final Fantasy Adventure in the U.S. (The Mana series includes Seiken Densetsu 2 -- released as Secret of Mana for the Super Nintendo in the U.S. -- Seiken Densetsu 3, Legend of Mana for the Playstation, Sword of Mana for the Gameboy, Children of Mana for the DS, and quite possibly other similarly titled games in the future.) Tracks 1-7 are the arranged songs.

Squaresoft version: The liner notes include: tracklist in mixed English and Japanese (kana); artwork by Hitoshi Yoneda; a paragraph describing the game's storyline; comments from Kohichi Ishii (director), Kazuko Shibuya (graphics), Yoshinori Kitase (planner), Satoru Yoshieda (programmer), Masaaki Saito (programmer), and Goro Ohashi (planner); comments from Kenji Ito on each of the arranged songs; and other messages from Kenji Ito.

SonMay version: The liner notes include just the first 2 pages of the SS version: Yoneda artwork with the Seiken Densetsu title logo; and the tracklist. Also comes with a sticker showing the cover of the Seiken Densetsu 3 soundtrack, and a customer survey sheet. The sticker may have differed from copy to copy, but I don't know that for certain.

Interesting note: The date of release on the Squaresoft re-release is listed as 8/25/95 (the date of the original Squaresoft release), although it was actually re-released on 10/1/04.
