    Contains selected music from the Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI games for the Playstation, both of which were originally for the Super Nintendo (Super Famicom). This CD came bundled with the Final Fantasy Anthology game set for the Playstation. The "Greatest Hits" version of FF Anthology DOES NOT include the music CD. FF5 was not released in the U.S. before this; FF6 was previously released in the U.S. as Final Fantasy III for the Super Nintendo.

    All the music on this CD is taken directly from the original soundtracks to their respective games and are identical to the songs found on their respective soundtracks. However, there is some music found in the opening and closing FMVs of the Playstation versions of the games that do not appear on any soundtrack.


    Liner notes: Instructions to the games. The instructions have the tracklists in English. Because the FF5 tracklist was never before translated, the "official" translation here may differ from prior information.


    I don't have track times listed because my copy of the game, along with the music CD, seems to have vanished into thin air. But the track times are just about the same as their original soundtrack versions. (Whoa...okay, that sentence just made me realize why earlier soundtracks were often called "original sound versions"!) I'll add the info when I find it...
